ORAI Robotics Gives Employees NFTs as a Reward

ORAI Robotics Gives Employees NFTs as a Reward

This is the first time in India that a corporation has given NFT to all of its employees. They have the option of storing, auctioning, or selling it back to the employer. ORAI Robotics has also announced a long-term strategy to use NFTs to recognise the accomplishments of its personnel and the company as a whole.

ORAI Robotics Gives Employees NFTs as a Reward

ORAI Robotics, a conversational artificial intelligence (AI) company, said on Tuesday that it has given Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) as rewards to its entire workforce, which currently numbers over 50 people. The NFTs were validated and sent to the employees via a digital wallet, which ORAI assisted in the creation of for each employee.

"ORAI Upbeat" Collection

ORAI Upbeat, the company's first generation NFT collection for employees, was just minted and launched. The ORAI Upbeat collection includes 500 one-of-a-kind NFT collectibles created exclusively for ORAI workers and important stakeholders. According to the business, each of these collectibles depicts positive, cheery, and happy robots that are meant to encourage participation in the metaverse's up-and-coming environment.

ORAI Robotics developed the concept for this project in-house, and Meta9corp.io provided support to help make this first-of-its-kind project a success.

No cost NFTs

"There is no cost to the NFTs given to the employees. It will be the employees’ decision to put it on auction, "ORAI Robotics’ representative told FE Online. ORAI Robotics said in a statement that it has become the first company in India to give away corporate NFTs to employees. The employees can either store or flaunt their NFTs as a medal, badge of honor, or certificate, or they can trade and transfer these NFTs in order to capitalise and earn from them.

Buy Back Option

Employees can also use a repurchase programme to monetize their NFTs by returning them to the company after a set length of time, subject to certain restrictions and conditions of the corporation. Additionally, for employees who have NFTs, the company will provide free access to various training and events relating to conversational AI, skill development, and other related training.

Speaking about this initiative, Swapnil Jain, Co-Founder & CEO, ORAI Robotics, said,

"We at ORAI Robotics wanted to introduce a unique and innovative way to thank our employees who make this company awesome. And this is exactly why we ideated and minted a plethora of unique collectibles as NFTs under the theme ‘Upbeat’ and thereafter gave away one NFT from this collection to each of our employees. "

We are also happy to note that our ORAI Upbeat NFT collection truly reflects the values of the company and our vision and mission towards advancing AI and new-age technologies. Going forward, every time we at ORAI Robotics grow, we will celebrate the success by giving NFTs to employees.  We are pioneering a new path for companies to engage with their employees via NFT with the secure and trusted blockchain technology.

Rewards in the Future

ORAI Robotics has also announced a long-term strategy to use NFTs to recognise the accomplishments of its personnel and the company as a whole, thereby cementing NFTs as a significant element of the company's cultural DNA. For example, they want to assign one NFT airdrop into an employee's wallet every time they reach a one-year milestone with the company in the future. Employees who complete their first year with the company will be given GIF NFTs, and those who complete their second, third, fourth, and fifth years with the company will be given Animated GIFs, Videos, Audio/Music, and Art NFTs.

ORAI Robotics intends to distribute NFTs to its partners, customers, and other key business stakeholders. They also want to use blockchain NFTs as a kind of background verification for past qualifications, diplomas, awards, and other data by storing it on the blockchain and using it as a proof of employment.
