BONK, ORDI, and BTT Surge Ahead With Triple-Digit Growth This Week
Bitcoin surged in value by over 14%, while Ethereum also gained 13% against the US dollar last week. Besides Bitcoin and Ethereum, a considerable number of other cryptocurrencies registered significant gains during the week. BONK, ORDI, and BTT surged ahead with triple-digit growth this week.
Crypto Market Valuation Reached USD 1.7 Trillion
The crypto market, consisting of more than 11,000 cryptocurrencies spread across 940 exchanges, is now growing steadily. It has registered a rise of 2.8% in the last 24 hours, with its total valuation reaching USD 1.7 trillion.
The total valuation of the crypto market is consistently trending upward. While much of this growth is attributed to Bitcoin and Ethereum, an array of other digital assets are also witnessing impressive growth.
The meme coin Bonk (BONK) leads the charge this week with a remarkable 226% rise against the US dollar, followed by ORDI, which gained 146%, and BTT, which rose 117%, completing the trio of top weekly gainers with triple-digit surges.
Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) registered 72% growth, while Beam (BEAM) climbed 60% this week. Cryptocurrencies that witnessed double-digit growth during the week include WEMIX +60%, HNT +51%, STX +43%, and LUNA 2.0 +40%.
High Volume Tokens Gain Between 7% and 21%
Besides the big four of BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC, the frontrunners in global trade volume this week are SOL, XRP, DOGE, LINK, ADA, and BNB. These high-volume tokens have all registered gains between 7% and 21% over the past week.
Tokens that failed to join the upward trending group this week are Maker (MKR), which declined 6.4%, and Bitfinex’s LEO token, which dipped 4.3%. TON also slid 4.3%, BGB fell 4.1%, and ILV was down 3.8%.
Other tokens that faced a downturn this week include KAS, AAVE, and OKB. A total of eight cryptocurrencies registered losses against the US dollar in the past week, while the rest either gained in value or remained stable.
