Maruti Suzuki Launches Metaverse Showroom
Maruti
Suzuki, one of the biggest car manufacturers in India, has announced the launch
of its metaverse showroom experience. The company announced the
VR (virtual reality) launch of its Arena showroom on January 1. Customers can experience the Maruti Suzuki vehicles online or through authorized dealers' networks.
Maruti Suzuki to Offer Immersive Experiences
Car
companies are beginning to occupy the virtual reality space in the metaverse
for customers to experience their products interactively through innovation.
Maruti Suzuki is one of the leading car manufacturers in India. The company has
announced plans to offer immersive experiences in the metaverse showrooms
for its range of car models.
Maruti
Suzuki is the most trusted brand among car manufacturers in the Indian market.
It has the largest retail network, having produced and sold millions of cars.
The company has announced the launch of its Arenaverse network. Customers can
now interact with the cars manufactured by the company in virtual reality. The
company provides customers with different options to configure cars in
virtual mode.
The
sales representatives of the company will guide the customers on the metaverse platform to advise them
on the possible options and operations, according to a press release.
Largest Auto Retail Network Arenaverse
Maruti
Suzuki intends to provide customers with a comprehensive virtual representation
of the available car models. The company has already distributed 700 VR
headsets to its dealers across the country for customers to avail themselves of
the metaverse showroom experience in the designated Arenaverse showrooms.
However,
there will also be an online version of the Arenaverse for customers to enjoy
the experience using computers, laptops, and mobiles. Shashank Srivastava,
senior executive officer of marketing at Maruti Suzuki, remarked on the
importance of these new developments for the company.
Srivastava
stated:
"At Maruti Suzuki, we have ensured that our
already strong digital journey is further fortified to suit the requirements of
new-age customers." We have taken this digital journey a notch up by
bringing the country’s largest auto retail network, Arena, to the
metaverse."
Other
car manufacturers have also been launching their brand showrooms in the
metaverse. In November, Renault announced the launch of its
industrial metaverse, hoping to save up to USD 330 million. In December, Fiat,
an automotive brand owned by Stellantis, launched the metaverse
showroom for its new 500 La Prima model.
