Binance Inks Partnership with Showmax for Crypto Adoption in Africa

Global crypto exchange Binance has inked a new partnership with the African video streaming service Showmax to expand crypto adoption in Africa. Binance offers new users enrolling to become active in Web3 a month-long video streaming subscription.

Reward Program for Nigerian Binance Users

Global crypto exchange Binance has announced a new partnership with the video streaming service Showmax to expand crypto adoption in Africa. According to a Business Day report, about 500 Nigerian Binance users enrolling to become active participants in Web3 will be rewarded with a month-long video streaming subscription.

Remarking on the latest campaign to take crypto to the masses, Emmanuel Ebanehita of Binance said:

"We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Showmax to provide an incredible opportunity for our new users to be active participants in Web3. This promotion comes at a time when many Africans are eagerly embracing the underlying technology behind crypto."

Ebanehita added that the latest campaign also showcases the commitment of Binance to providing "accessible and convenient platforms," making it possible for users to participate in the digital economy.

Showmax Consumer Base Set for Expansion

Opeoluwa Filani, the general manager at Showmax Nigeria, lauded the collaboration, which will increase the consumer base of the video streaming platform.

According to Business Day, users signing up for the crypto education and adoption initiative of Binance must complete the registration process with a transaction worth USD 10. Users will confirm their participation in the campaign by filling out a form.
