Worldcoin's native token, WLD, has been making waves in the market, with its value fluctuating between USD 2.69 and USD 2.13 per token in the past 12 days and peaking at USD 3.30 per token on July 24, 2023. The individual addresses holding WLD tokens surged by more than 148 percent, increasing from 164,195 wallets to a total of 408,721 unique addresses. 

WLD Token Witnesses Volatile Price Swings

Worldcoin's native token, WLD, remained steady at an average price of USD 2.41 per token during the past 12 days, from July 24 to August 5, 2023. WLD soared to an all-time high of USD 3.30 per token on July 24, 2023, but saw a 35.55% decline by August 5. 

Despite facing a decline of 35.55% by August 5, the asset has managed to bounce back, climbing more than 27 percent from an all-time low of USD 1.66 on July 24. On that specific day, WLD achieved a remarkable high, capturing the attention of investors and enthusiasts alike.

Worldcoin's recent performance is marked by an impressive rise in the number of unique addresses holding WLD, which soared from 164,195 wallets on July 25 to an astonishing 408,721 addresses by August 5. This significant growth signifies a burgeoning interest in cryptocurrency.

While the market dynamics remain volatile, the distribution of WLD among the top wallets tells a compelling story. A single address commands over half of the supply at 57.8604%, while the top 100 holders collectively own 95.08%. Since the token’s launch on Optimism, 1,912,129 WLD transfers have taken place.

The Top 20 Wallets Command 94 Percent of WLD Tokens 

Worldcoin's two preeminent addresses are firmly under the project's control, holding 57.86 percent and 17.88 percent of the WLD tokens, respectively. As of August 5, 2023, the top 20 wallets together control a staggering 94.0125% of the WLD supply.

Binance, Wintermute, and Bithumb are among the prominent players and top wallets. Worldcoin's unique approach to distribution also involves Uniswap, Gate.io, Bybit, Mexc, Bitget, Worldcoin, and other significant wallets. These players hold key positions, contributing to the token's liquidity and stability.
